International audienceFollowing the primary school curricula (M.E.N. 2015 revised in 2018), our article investigates the relationship between spoken and written French. It is based on an experiment carried out in a cycle 3 class, more precisely in CM2 (pupils from 10 to 11 years old). After listening to an excerpt from a radio interview, the students observed had to analyse the written transcription of this oral excerpt and rewrite it so as to meet written standards.
