The bryozoan class Stenolaemata is currently represented by the order Cyclostomata. They produce skeletons made exclusively of calcite crystals assembled into different microstructures. Despite extensive previous research, no appropriate crystallographic techniques have been applied to decipher their crystallographic organization.
