This dataset provides the open-source load disaggregation model and source data accessed, organized and cleaned by the authors for the Energy Strategy Reviews article, "A data-driven approach for the disaggregation of building-sector heating and cooling loads from hourly utility load data" (under review). The model disaggregates hourly electricity usage into that for heating, cooling and temperature-independent electricity loads by estimating the response intensities of hourly electricity demands to weather conditions and building stock information, and is performed for all balancing authorities or load zones within the operation area of NYISO, ERCOT and CAISO where hourly electrical load data are available.
