Jaun Elia shows a notable diversity of thoughts in his poetry. As a matter of fact, his poetry encompasses a variety of shades. Romance is the salient feature of his poetry. But he looks entirely different when pessimism clouds his poetry. One can feel an echo of self-pity in many of his verses when Jaun narrates his woes of life.
