This research article is about the Indian stance on "The New Silk Road initiative". In this paper, opinions of India towards the "One Road and One Belt Initiative "is viewed in the framework of China -India ties. Managing India's ties with China is the primary concern of the Indian policymakers. A rich literature on the Indian concerns and China BRI exists; some authors consider it to create alternative regional institutions by expanding its influence to the neighbourhood.
