The educational practice requires the application of different strategies to address the teaching-learning process, in this work we sought to demonstrate that the application of didactic strategies favors the teaching-learning process in high school. In addition, a set of experiences of the author in working with high school students that favor student learning are addressed. For the development of this work, the results emanating from the teaching evaluations carried out by the planning and quality department of the Northeastern University were taken into account, which reflected the need to potentiate the applied activities and maintain their diversification.
