Persepsi Mayarakat Sekitar Hutan Kota Jalan Kediri Dan Polowijen Ruang Terbuka Hijau Kota Malang

The purpose of this study was to determine the management of the urban forest on Kediri and urban forest of Polowijen and to know the perceptions of the community around the urban forest. The method used was interviews and questionnaires with data analysis used, namely quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive. The management of the urban forest on Jalan Kediri and urban forest in Polowijen is managed by the Malang City Environment Agency and has the same management system in maintenance, provision of water catchment areas, provision of facilities and improvement of existing facilities in Jalan Kediri urban forest and polyowijen city forest. The perception of the community around the urban forest on Jalan Kediri and the urban forest of Polowijen shows that the two urban forests provide benefits to the community as Green Open Space (RTH) which is used as a place for refreshing, providing aesthetic value and as a place for water absorption for vegetation around the city forest. The results of the perceptions of the community around the city forest on Jalan Kediri and the urban forest of Polowijen on the function of the urban forest in stabilizing temperature conditions, reducing air pollution, opening jobs, and providing vegetation in both urban forests are not optimal. The community's perception of the benefits of the urban forest function by the surrounding community can be influenced by age, education, occupation and income levels.
