In this paper, we have introduced a new generalization of the Fre ́chet distribution named as the Cubic Transmuted Fre ́chet distribution (CTFD) based on cubic ranking transmutation map. Furthermore, we have derived some properties of the proposed distribution including survival and hazard functions, moments, moment generating function, quantile function and random number generation. The estimation of CTFD parameters has been done using Maximum Likelihood method. Finally, an application of the proposed distribution CTFD using two uncensored data is conducted to illustrate and compare with the base Fre ́chet distribution and Transmuted Freshet distribution.
