This article has the task of showing a possible interpretation of some notes about the belief in God made by Wittgenstein, at the time of the Tractatus. Our main objective is to show how, for the young Wittgenstein, faith in God has an intimate connection with the meaning of life and that this has important contributions to the understanding of what this author understood by faith in God, in contrast, for example, to the mere superstition. To do this, we begin by elucidating the relationship between faith in God and the meaning of life and the world.
