This article is a result of a theoric research, from qualitative nature, performed to understand and problematize about the Pedagogical Coordinator work (PC), in the perspective of a democratic school building, guided by the principles of Freirian thought. This discussion is believed to be opportune, not only by the relevance and scarcity of the writings with this specificity, but above all, for this year to celebrate the centenary of this important autochthonous thinker recognized worldwide.
