Efektifitas Media Booklet Dan Whatsapp Group Dalam Promosi Kesehatan Terhadap Deteksi Dini Komplikasi Kehamilan

Complications in pregnancy can threaten the life and health of the mother and baby. The number of maternal deaths in Central Lampung in 2020 was 22 people, an increase compared to 2019 (16 people). The causes of maternal death were 7 cases of bleeding, 1 case of infection, 2 cases of circulatory system disorders and 12 cases of other causes. This can be anticipated by early detection of complications during pregnancy. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of health promotion using Booklet Media and Whatsapp Group Media on Early Detection of Pregnancy Complications in Central Lampung Regency in 2021. This type of quantitative analytic research uses a quasi-experimental design with a pre- and post-test design, one group design, a true experiment. The research subjects were 60 pregnant primigravida pregnant women in the first and second trimesters. Bivariate data analysis using Independent T Test. The results showed that during the Covid-19 pandemic, Whatsapp Group media with a p value of 0.005 was more effective than Booklet media with a p value of 0.007. Suggestions that midwives can increase the knowledge of pregnant women about early detection of complications in the third trimester of pregnancy through health promotion through electronic media (Smartphones) on the Whatsapp Group application, in order to prevent delays in clinical decision making in the event of complications during pregnancy and childbirth. Keywords: Booklet, Early Detection of Complications,Whatsapp Group. ABSTRAK Komplikasi dan penyulit pada kehamilan dapat mengancam jiwa serta kesehatan ibu dan bayi. Kasus kematian ibu di Lampung Tengah pada tahun 2020 sejumlah 22 orang, terdapat peningkatan dibandingkan tahun 2019 (16 orang). Penyebab kematian ibu yaitu perdarahan 7 kasus, Infeksi 1 kasus, gangguan sistem peredaran darah 2 kasus dan sebab lain 12 kasus. Hal ini dapat diantisipasi dengan deteksi dini komplikasi sejak masa kehamilan.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui Efektifitas Pelaksanaan Promosi Kesehatan dengan Media Booklet dan Media Whatsapp Group Terhadap Deteksi Dini Terjadinya Komplikasi Kehamilan di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah Tahun 2021 . Jenis penelitian analitik kuantitatif menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pre dan post test one group design true eksperimen. Subyek penelitian ibu hamil primigravida trimester I dan II sejumlah 60 orang. Analisa data bivariat menggunakan T Test Independen.Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pada masa pandemi Covid-19 media Whatsapp Group dengan p value 0,005 lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan media Booklet dengan p value 0,007. Saran agar bidan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang deteksi dini komplikasi pada kehamilan trimester III melalui promosi kesehatan melalui media elektronik (Smartphone) pada aplikasi Whatsapp Group, agar dapat mencegah terjadinya keterlambatan pengambilan keputusan klinik bila terjadi komplikasi/penyulit pada masa kehamilan dan persalinan.
