HUBUNGAN PENGGUNAAN BATIK PADA BUSANA PESTA TERHADAP KECINTAAN KEPADA PRODUK LOKAL

Batik is Indonesia’s cultural heritage that has been recognized by UNESCO as one of world cultural heritages. Batik is also one of Indonesia’s cultural identities. The use of batik itself is currently an Indonesian cultural tradition, one of which when there is a party. In this era, the use of batik at the event in cultural or modern tradition began to decrease, because Western culture started to affect Indonesian culture. The focus of this research is to find out the relationship between the use of batik and the level of Indonesian students' love to use batik at events, both traditional or modern event. The benefits of this research is that we are going to know how much Indonesian young generation people care about batik preservation in Indonesia. The method of this research is study of literature and questionnaire to several students. &nbsp
