ABSTRACT Research on the effect of sintering temperature variations on the microstructure characteristics of hydroxyapatite from whitefish bones has been successfully carried out. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) based on whitefish bones (chanos-chanos forsk) can be applied as a bonegraft material. In this study, hydroxyapatite material was synthesized by preheating using an oven at a temperature of 100oC to obtain dry samples and then a sintering process was carried out with temperature variations by 800, 900 and 1000 oC. After the sintering process is complete, the sample is milled at a rotating speed of 350 rpm with a milling time of 15 hours.
