STUDI TRIKOMA DAUN TUMBUHAN PENEDUH SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR BIOLOGI

Utilization of the potential of the surrounding environment can be used as a learning resource, one of which is plant material. The results of research on plant tissue can be useful as a source of learning and practicum for students at the university level in the study of plant anatomy. This research uses descriptive research by looking at the forms of trichomes of various types of shade plants by using replication methods and analysis of potential learning resources. The results of this study showed (1) The types and forms of shade plant trichomes in Seberang Ulu II District, Palembang City were found in various types, namely;Needle shaped glands, glandular hydathode form, and Star-shaped Non-Glandular, (2)The results of research that contain various types of trichomes can be used as an interesting learning resource and increase students' knowledge and understanding of trichomes and their functions in biology learning materials at high school and college level.
