Respon Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Okra (Abelmoschus Esculentus L.) Akibat Waktu Pemangkasan Pucuk dan Jarak Tanam yang Berbeda

This study aims was to obtain the right timing of pruning shoots and spacing to obtain high growth and production of okra crops. This study used a Randomized Block Design factorial pattern 3x3 with three repeats. The first factor is the timing of pruning shoots of W0: without pruning shoots, W1: at 15 day Pruning Shoots, and W2: at 30 day Pruning Shoots. The second factor is the planting distance of okra of J1: 50 x 25 cm, J2: 50 x 50 cm, and J3: 50 x 75 cm. The data obtained were processed using the analysis of variance at 5% level and continued by the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of the shoot pruning time and planting distance treatment is not significant to the number of leaves, stem circumference, number of branches, flowering age, and weight of okra fruit.
