Botany has been around us since the dawn of humanity. However, students generally have little affinity for the subject, especially due to the use of traditional classes, with emphasis on the memorization of contents. Therefore, it is necessary to bring the object of study closer to the reality of students, with the use of native plants in practical classes providing a new dimension to their learning, relating theory and practice.
