Introduction: Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory oral disease that destroys soft and hard periodontal support tissues. Multiple cell death modes including apoptosis, necroptosis, pyroptosis, and ferroptosis play a crucial role in the pathogenicity of inflammatory diseases.
