Mystagogy of Alexander Schmemann encompasses various elements of liturgical the-ology, from Eucharist as its core to anthropology. It was very important to Schmemann not to understand Liturgy in a mysterious way, but as the very life that has true meaning only in Liturgy itself. This paper emphasizes Liturgy as a communion of God and men and the fact that Church is realized only through its worship. The paper also emphasizes pedagogical aspect of worship.
