The main aim of this article is to present the possibility of assessing the intensity of the impact of vibrations on vehicle users. During vehicle operation, many factors can have impacts on changes in the characteristics of car suspension, which can affect passenger comfort. This paper presents the results obtained from calculations based on a mathematical model, as well as from measurements during laboratory tests. The tests were performed on vehicles that differed in characteristics of damping suspension. The tests were carried out using a test stand for evaluating the effectiveness of shock absorbers in vehicles.
