Oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) are important for developing energy systems such as fuel cells and metal–air batteries. Precious metal catalysts, such as Pt and IrO2, have been considered electrochemical catalysts because of their excellent activity for the ORR and OER.
