During the rebuilding of a gas reservoir, repeated “strong injection and mining” processes change the seepage capacities of gas and water. Hence, accurately determining the seepage laws of gas and water in a gas storage reservoir is crucial. In this study, a standard relative permeability test was conducted with a one-dimensional core. Additionally, a gas reservoir injection and mining simulation experiment was conducted with a two-dimensional plate. The results show that the relative permeability curve obtained by the one-dimensional core test did not accurately reflect the operation characteristics of the gas storage and the change in the seepage law during the gas reservoir construction.
