Background: Human albumin (HA) infusion is potentially effective for the management of hyponatremia in liver cirrhosis, but the current evidence is very limited. Methods: In this retrospective study, 2414 cirrhotic patients who were consecutively admitted to our hospital between January 2010 and June 2014 were included in the Hospitalization outcome cohort, and 339 cirrhotic patients without malignancy who were consecutively admitted to our department between December 2014 and April 2021 were included in the Long-term outcome cohort.
