The study aims to know the impact of livestock sector on the gross domestic product in Sudan, and whether this effect is large, small, or erratic, through assessing and knowing the factors that affect the growth of livestock in Sudan. The study came to the fact that, livestock is one of the major sectors that have remarkable contribution to the national economic process in Sudan, either in attraction of hard currency through livestock exports and achieving internal food security. The study adopted the historical, descriptive and analytical approaches to the gross domestic product data and the contribution of the livestock and agricultural sectors to the domestic product.
