Study Title: Professional Standards of the News and its Implications for Press Coverage in Political Newspapers - An Empirical Study on Akhbar Al-Youm and Al-Tayyar Newspapers, 2016-2017. The aim of the researcher through this study is to find out the commitment of newspapers to apply the news standards in the press coverage. The researcher has adopted the analytic descriptive approach – as it suits the Humanities Studies-He also used practical observation, conducted questionnaire forms and interviews with specialists to reach outcomes for the hypothesis and answers for the study questions . The researcher has obtained the study samples represented by "100" samples of the two newspapers to cover all the theoretical and applied aspects that help to understand the problem of the study represented by the extent of adherence to the professional and ethical standards of News. The researcher divided the study into four chapters, the first of which included the methodological framework of the study. The second chapter includes the concept of political journalism, its origins and characteristics. The third chapter contains a summary of the news story, its beginnings and standards of discipline, as well as a summary of news coverage in political newspapers. The conclusion of the study in the fourth chapter, which reached after analyzing the samples and interviews to set findings and recommendations that we hope to be informed in the throne of Her Majesty
