Organización social y pequeño riego en México. Un acercamiento a la región Centro

In this work some analytical dimensions of the irrigation systems are approached, in particular on the organization of communitarian and intercommunitarian type; the agrarian social structure related to the uses of the water is described in the region Center of Mexico, from point of view the land possession and hydraulic infrastructure. The heterogeneity and the small property like elements characteristic of the region are identified, and it considers that in some of these systems of small irrigation, the collective action and of the communitarian organization has promoted and could continue promoting the efficiency. En este trabajo se abordan algunas dimensiones analíticas de los sistemas de riego, en particular sobre la organización de tipo comunitario e intercomunitario; se describe la estructura social agraria relacionada con los usos del agua en la región centro de México, vista a partir de la tenencia de la tierra e infraestructura hidráulica. Se identifican la heterogeneidad y el minifundismo como elementos característicos de la región, y se plantea que en algunos de estos sistemas de pequeño riego, la acción colectiva y de la organización comunitaria han promovido y podrían seguir promoviendo la eficiencia
