This article is about development from different paradigms. It is proposed a strategic perspective that indicates the need of alternatives for the development of the social relations and of the productive forces. The modern approach goes back to the crisis of 1929 that later had a special impulse from the Second World War. Most of the contemporary studies on development have their roots in Economics.
