Teaching Strategies In English Learning During The Covid-19 Transition Period At Smpn-2 Kartasura

This study aims to describe teaching strategies by teachers at SMPN 2 Kartasura during the Covid-19 transition. Researchers used descriptive qualitative methods based on teacher experience and student responses. data collection techniques in this study based on interviews, observation, documentation. The subjects in this study were 1 English teacher and 30 class VII students of SMPN 2 Kartasura. The results of the study show that: (1) find out the teaching strategies applied by the teacher (2) find out the Implementation of teaching strategies for SMPN 2 Kartasura teachers (3) Student responses to the implementation of teaching strategies to English teacher student responses to the application of teaching strategies to English teachers.
