Introduction: The use of a video laryngoscope (VL) is an alternative to direct laryngoscopy (DL) for tracheal intubation. Among the VL available on the market, the McGrath® MAC (MG) seems to be the most used in operating rooms. The French Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care (SFAR) recommends VL only for difficult intubations.
