Bangladesh is located in the deltaic plain. It is very vulnerable to floods. Flood causes enormous losses to crops, lives, settlements and others. Jamuna river is prone to monsoon floods and is located in the North-central part of Bangladesh. Flood Hazard Mapping is a cost-effective and non-structural measure to mitigate floods. The study area is about 75 km. Flood hazard maps were generated using the RIVERFLOW2D model in conjunction with ArcMap. Calibration and validation were done for the years 2014 and 2017. Then steady simulation was done for 2, 25 and 100-year return periods and inundation areas were found at 40, 55 and 58 km^2 respectively.
