Barium sulfate has been widely used in different fields due to its excellent physical and chemical properties, but its application in solid propellants has not yet been explored. In this work, novel microreactor was used to prepare the barium sulfate nanoparticles. Then the barium sulfate nanoparticles were characterized by Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscope (TEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET).
