LORSQUE À HAUTEUR D'ENFANT PARAÎT L'ENFANT AUTEUR.LE POINT DE VUE (SUR) DES ENFANTS DANS L’ANALYSE DES DISPOSITIFS DE PRATIQUES ARTISTIQUES ET LUDIQUES, A L’ÉCOLE, AU MUSÉE ET DANS L’ESPACE PUBLIC.

Based on my various involvements in the educational landscape, this thesis presents an ethnographic analysis of situated utopias, defined as counter-spaces to institutional establishments (Foucault, 2009). Designed by artists and social activists, these heterotopias offer artistic and recreational practices for children at school, in museums and outdoor public spaces. At the intersection of formal, non-formal and informal education (Brougère & Bézille, 2007), these multi-situated field in France and Denmark, by contrast, offer insights into the point of view of children and the way in which it expresses itself. Commitment to childhood in research comes through analytical methods with the different actors in the field, that is to say the children by the relationship that they maintain with a world shared with adults. In this sense, this thesis subscribes to an epistemology that defines the child as “ the author ” of his own story (Go, 2011) and children as producers of their own culture (Arleo & Delalande, 2011) within the paradigm of an Education lasting a lifetime, (Le Grand & Colin, 2008) that is based on shared experience. Through an interdisciplinary approach, we will understand childhood in relation to the society which surrounds it, and free the child from an educational relationship concerned by what may be good or bad for him, in order to enable his re-interpretation of the world (Corsaro, 1992). Between a childhood utopia and the reality of institutional constraints, children are faced with contradictory issues, inherent to a contextualised educational relationship. Nevertheless, we will see how within these paradoxical injunctions on the playground and in artistic activities, they create an escape path (Guattari, 2011), that may reveal to us a shared world.À partir de mes différentes implications sur le terrain de l’éducation, cette recherche expose une analyse ethnographique d’utopies situées, définies comme des contre-espaces aux lieux institutionnels (Foucault, 2009). Créées par des artistes et des militants associatifs, ces hétérotopies proposent des dispositifs de pratiques artistiques et ludiques aux enfants, à l’école, au musée et dans l’espace public. Au croisement des cadres de l’éducation formelle, non-formelle et informelle (Brougère & Bézille, 2007), ces terrains multi-situés, en France et au Danemark, offrent dans leur comparaison, un accès au point de vue des enfants et à la façon dont il s’exprime.L’engagement pour l’enfance dans la recherche passe, par des méthodes d’analyse, avec les acteurs sur le terrain, c’est à dire les enfants dans la relation qu’ils entretiennent à un monde partagé avec les adultes. Dans ce sens cette thèse s’inscrit dans une épistémologie qui définit l’enfant comme « auteur » de sa propre histoire (Go, 2011) et l’enfance comme productrice de sa propre culture (Arleo & Delalande, 2011), à l’intérieur du paradigme d’une Éducation tout au long de la vie, (Le Grand & Colin, 2008) centrée sur l’expérience. Par une approche transdisciplinaire, il s’agit de comprendre l’enfance en lien avec la société qui l’entoure, afin de dégager l’enfant d’une relation éducative prise dans ce qui serait bon ou mauvais pour lui a priori, pour accéder à sa réinterprétation du monde (Corsaro, 1992). Entre un idéal de l’enfance, et la réalité des contraintes institutionnelles, les enfants sont pris dans des enjeux contradictoires inhérents à une relation éducative contextualisée. Néanmoins nous verrons comment à l’intérieur de ces injonctions paradoxales sur le terrain du jeu et de la pratique artistique, ils créent une ligne de fuite (Guattari, 2011), qui peut nous révéler un monde partagé
