Security is an important aspect of healthcare applications that employ Internet of Things (IoT) technology. More specifically, providing privacy and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and authenticity of IoT-based designs are crucial in the health domain because the collected data are sensitive, and the continuous availability of the system is critical for the user’s wellbeing.
