Afforestation is conducive to improving ecosystem service functions and ecosystem diversity in the Mu Us Sandy Land, however, the important attribute of biomass for Mongolian pine (Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica Litv.) plantations has yet to be accurately evaluated.
