In the earlier years Post Stalinism period (1953-1955) Moldova’s relations with Romania wore an episodic character, and were limited more to the relationship between artists groups, women's organizations and officials from the cultural field. But since 1956 the Moldovan-Romanian cultural relations spread significantly and include many new areas - agriculture (the first delegates "peasant" appear), sports, youth and even relationship between party and state officials.
