This study presented the results and analysis of interviews conducted with students of the English Education Department at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra. This study used qualitative descriptive methods and the data collected by using class meetings with the Zoom app and interviews with Google Form. The interview aimed to gain an in-depth understanding and improved the the English students' ability to remember and master more vocabulary by implementing/using English songs. The research participants consisted of English Education Department students in who were selected based on transcripts of grades from semesters 1 to 7 who had the Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 and lower.
