Measurements in clear sky conditions carried out with different instruments were used to assess the suitability of radiometers for propagation studies at millimeter wavelengths. To this aim, long term statistics of Integrated Water Vapor Content (V), Integrated Liquid Water Content (L) and the corresponding attenuation contributions at different frequencies derived from radiometers through the Liebe (93) and Rosenkranz (98) mass absorption models have been compared with analogous long term statistics of V and L obtained from radio soundings profiles and with direct beacon measurements
