Culmination Project

Investigations have revealed vital information about the issue regarding student academic motivation, yet many students’ continue to fail, struggle, and drop out, including students’ at Holland Public Schools. This project explores the recent loss of academic motivation as well as the educational discussions regarding how to improve this train of thought. An effective student is required to display a positive outlook on their education, the different needs for improvement, and ways to focus on success. The academic motivation process influences the needs of students’ through fun Friday’s, school store, and school focused education groups. Additionally, the D.U.T.C.H. matrix used (Diverse, United, Thrive, Committed, and Honorable) will assist students’ in making better education decisions, with the use of rewarded behavior, and encourage academic motivation
