Quine’s theory of meaning. Language as a object of research and instrument of the reference to the worldIn the article I present and examine the most important problems connected with Quine’s philosophy of language. I start with a widely known thought experiment illustrating the difficulty with radical translation which leads to the thesis of ontological relativity.
