Expectations to social policy among families with disabled childrenNowadays in many countries disability is a common phenomenon. Special significance is given to children’s disability. Raising a child with disabilities affects the entire family. Disability has a negative impact i.e. on material conditions of family. This article presents results of empirical research conducted on 100 families with disabled children. The main goal of the research was to identify the cost incurred by the families because of children’s disability and effectiveness of social policy for families with disabled children.
