  Routine processes of language variants blending and crossing in the area of large urban agglomerations:on language bricolage, hybridism and transgression This paper addresses language practices in the German urbanised environment, or, more strictly, practices of language variants blending and crossing and their symbolic meaning in contemporary Germany. The authors and performers of mixed codes are the German incoming and native youth.
