Language and food are tightly connected. As part of our daily experience, our culinary traditions and cultures are shaped by the discourses we create on them. Via translation, virtual and digital spaces have become instrumental sites for disseminating culinary discourses with deep roots in cultural history. As this study clearly shows, Wikipedia communities rely on a long history of translations and intercultural relations.
