DISCOURSE STRUCTURES WITH PARALLEL SCENARIOS. THE CASE OF FAIT DIVERSIn this paper the author analyzes situational structures of fait divers. Situational structures of discourse are defined as a sequence of experiential frames. Each frame permits to conceptualize one event forming a part of information introduced in the discourse. The author focuses her attention on one class of situational structures in which different scenarios of the same event are introduced and analyzes the internal structure of experiential frames activated in discourse, relations between frames identified in the discourse and sources of different conceptualisations.DISCOURSE STRUCTURES WITH PARALLEL SCENARIOS.
