Purpose: The present study aims to investigate the influence of talent management on effectiveness of recruitment process undertaken in higher education institutions in Central India. This paper has clarified the meaning of talent management and why is it crucial. It had explained factors which are important for its effective implementation. Theoretical framework: For this, teachers working in higher education institutions in Central India were selected and data was collected from the selected teachers with the help of a structured questionnaire.
