This paper presents an analysis of gender stereotypes and roles in the scientific activities of female professors who belong to the National System of Research (NSR) the objective is identify the gender stereotypes and roles that underlie the teaching and research activities of a public university in northwestern Mexico. The methodological approach is from the qualitative paradigm with the feminist method, the qualitative survey was used as a technique through a questionnaire of open questions to 36 female researchers with NSR recognition.
