This paper focuses on the linguo-stylistic analysis of adverbial phrases in German and Serbian which are built by extraction of inherent characteristics of superordinate elements (verb or noun) and their surface realisation as an integral part of subordinate syntagmatic adverbial phrases (provided that a verb is the superordinate element) or integral part of the prepositional- nominal adverbial phrases (as an attribute to a noun). The adverbial phrases with the stylematic quality - syntactic styleme - are a result of this process.
