This paper approaches the use of realistic simulation as a teaching methodology in undergraduate nursing. The aim of this study was to describe the contribution of realistic simulation in undergraduate nursing education. This is a descriptive bibliographic review study with a qualitative approach. The content collection was carried out on specific bases directed to the theme: Scientific Electronic Library On line (SciELO), VHL Regional Portal (Virtual Health Library) and Google Scholar, with the date of publications in the time frame between 2015 and 2022.
