The study was carried out in ten communities located in the rural area of Siuna, Autonomous Region of the Northern Caribbean Coast, Nicaragua. Its objectives are to characterize the population, community economic and social development with identity from an intercultural gender perspective, to describe the state of art of these from the participation of the people, and to analyze realities, contexts, and scenarios for thepromotion of local community economies for the life of the people.
