The article examines in detail the translation of Graves and the dubious copy of Umarali Shah on the basis of research conducted by English and Iranian scholars, and proves that the newest and oldest copy of Umarali Shah's manuscript is not accurate. Grews and the Afghan mystic Umarali Shah, on the basis of a forged manuscript, first sought to portray Umar Khayyam as a purely mystical poet, and secondly, based on a forged manuscript, presented his inaccurate translation to an English-speaking reader who had lost his original Fitzgerald for centuries. .
