Introduction: Helicobacter pylori is a gram-negative, microaerophilic bacterium usually found in the stomach. The bacterium is transmitted by feco oral route and is associated with peptic ulcer, duodenal ulcer, and gastric carcinoma. The scope of this study is to determine the prevalence of comorbidities amongest H.pylori-positive patients at a tertiary care hospital, in Jammu, which can give a better picture of the current situation and estimate the at-risk population of gastric carcinoma.
