This report presents results of transient analyses performed for a pre-conceptual design of a Molten Salt Fast Reactor (MSFR) with the power of 3000MW (th). MSFR can employ a fuel containing initially U233 or/and TRUs. This reactors concept was proposed by CNRS Grenoble, France, within the EVOL project sponsored by the European Commission (EC) in the Seventh Framework Program (FP7). The safety analysis for MSFR reported in the following are related to different transient scenarios, which were simulated and analyzed by different partners within WP2 of EVOL project.
